Ruth Gooding
Director of Business and Innovation
After completing an MA in Art History from the University of St Andrews and an MA in Curatorial Practice from Falmouth University, Ruth has worked for a number of organisations including Southbank Centre, National Trust and Arts Council Collection. Through Ph.D research she developed a specialism in commissioning and producing contemporary art in the public realm, nationally and internationally.
Between 2018 and 2023 Ruth spearheaded the strategic direction of East Devon District Council’s cultural activity, delivering a dynamic programme which supported cultural regeneration, place-making, social engagement and climate awareness through innovative partnerships and collaboration.
As Director of Business and Innovation for Tangible Visual, Ruth supports and promotes a creative culture, optimising business engagement, innovation and partnerships nationally and internationally.
